April 26, 2007 -- -- Web hosting provider Rebel Networks (rebelnetworks.com) announced this week it had acquired the customer base and hosting infrastructure of Web hosting provider Lehost.net (lehost.net) for an undisclosed amount.

Rebel Networks says the acquisition will increase its customer base and expand its reseller division. Rebel Networks recently acquired hosting companies such as WRC hosting and ARC Web Scape as part of its growth strategy.

Lehost says it sold to Rebel Networks because of factors like the company's strong technical support team, a staffed around-the-clock call center and other tools and services not offered by Lehost.

Rebel Networks says it will continue to offer the same service to Lehost customers at the same price they currently have set up. The company says it won't make any changes to equipment at this point, nor start any mass migrations. However, customers using 2Checkout.com will begin receiving invoices from Rebel Networks rather than Lehost.
